Lake, it would essentially take an entirely different client because the saves are completely different on PS2 and PS3. So the short answer is it is possible but nowhere near practical. It would have to be an entirely different game genie.

Game Genie: Save Editor for PS3 is just that, for PS3.
Even games purchased via PS Store. If they are not PS3 games they won't be supported by this device.

No. Game Genie for PS3 is just that. For PS3. Even though those games are playable on PS3, they are still in PS1/2 format thus not editable by Game Genie.

Why does it take half a century for any game to download from PSN onto your console? Even buying PS3 games off of PSN takes 4-5 hours to download and install. Same with some PS1 games, those take 2-3 hours to download and install. Its insane, lol .The reason being..... Internet in my town is only allowed to 10 Megabytes on DSl by Century Link.

I would rather buy the disc than wait that long. I remember buying Catherine off of PSN, and it was glitched, or corrupted. I wasn't the only one having trouble downloading and installing. But Catherine wouldn't install, and I only spent 10 dollars on it. I looked this up on the PS3/ Sony forum and everyone was frustrated with it. I regret it now. I should have gone to Game Stop or Wal-Mart and just purchased the game there. I mean, It seems it saves me a lot of time and trouble just to buy the disc than fidget with the digital version.

I was going to say it's your internet speed. Mine at my house is AT&T DSL and it's slow as Christmas but my gf's house is Charter and it's superfast! An update for the vita sunday was gonna take 20 minutes at my house and it took about 4 mins at hers. LOL

Yeah, its my internet speed. I can't get Century Link to make it any faster because of the small town I live in. I had no idea that Century Link puts restrictions on their own services based on the area.
I'll have to look into Charter. Its also a reason why I quit playing online games like Guild Wars 2 and WOW. Too much lag, lol
