How do yall feel about sony/microsoft making an upgraded version for they systems so they can sell vr? Will it flop like the playstation move?

I think its interesting how they want to upgrade the PS4 and Xbox. On the other hand it kind of chaps my hide a bit knowing that I may have to buy another PS4 at some point in time.

Just look at the old/new 3DS as an example. Some of the newer 3DS games can only be played on the new 3DS.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue has been announce today. Honestly I'd be all over it, but RPGs takes too much time and effort to 100% with all the items, weapons, mini-games, secret bosses, grinding, etc. And since you have to synthesize some of the items and weapons on this game, grinding for Level 99 and synthesis items take a chunk of hours. I'll wait for the PS4 Game Genie to buy it (If they decide to make it) to use it as a shortcut. Instead of playing over 200 hours, I rather play less than 50 with the help of Game Genie. I'm a busy guy with a lot on my plate. And I guess some of you are the same as me; not having enough time to 100% a RPG as big as Kingdom Hearts by playing it over 200 hours.

i cant wait for kingdom hearts never played ddd before and 2.8 seems interesting. I wish back cover/story was playable that seems very interesting for just cutscenes. I hope we have some type of cheat device by christmas though lol. 100 hours on final fantasy xv is just the beginning

Don't know if this applies to this thread, but anyone direct me to the best ps4 console currently available the one with less power consumption less noise etc..? I hear something about CUH-1200+ model numbers are best? I prefer Amazon.co.uk link since all games are region free. I finally decided to go in debt and get one thanks to the new Star ocean 5. Perhaps you can pm me if you know anything thanks.

Ah I couldn't hold out I got the matte version as of latest chipset, I will I guess and get the PS4.5 or Neo sometime in the future. I heard the ps4 slim will not have an optical port which isn't great for me. I'll just get a neo when I can. Thanks for the reply though!

Lately there are games that are being implemented with a Microtransaction System. I'm guessing if a PS4 Game Genie does comes out someday, I highly doubt there will be codes for those games. The games I play that has such feature is Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, Street Fighter V and Mortal Kombat X and there's a high chance that Injustice 2 will also have that feature. Curses; I wanted a "Have All Gears For All Characters" codes for Injustice 2. :cry:

i have a seiki 4k tv does my tv have to have hdr on it for hdr to work, or do all 4k tv have hdr built into them. do i just have to play in 4k for hdr to unlock as well. cuz im getting the pro

I thought about it, but I think I'm going to just stick with my regular PS4. Maybe at some point I may switch, but for now it just seems silly to spend $399 again for an upgrade that probably won't be needed for a while yet.

I would be surprised if the Switch was 4k exclusive, if it's even compatible. Nintendo these days tends to be behind the curve on most things.

nintendo is old school for sure if they made hardcore games they probality be the best system in my opinion cuz when it comes to exclusives they hands down win in my opinion. idk if switch will be 4k cuz its only more powerful than ps3/360 so they say but nintendo aint released no official specs of the system yet

Nintendo have one major flaw in all their stuff, A/ Games are censored for USA and that is the main reason I'm no longer supporting them. I can't stand them parenting my gaming, we all have parents to stop kids, and most of us are above 18. They need to rename it Kidtendo so it helps me remember to avoid their stuff.

I don't think they'd stop making codes and not say anything. While I can't say for certain, I believe there has always only been a handful of people who make the official codes for games.

Its kind of depressing, I mean just go back a year or two and the community codes was very active with people making their own codes for existing games.

Well, with the decline in games coming out and most of the people who do make the codes not being paid employees, it's only natural for there to be a drop off in codes being released and work being done. AFAIK no one's really quit doing it, there's just not as big a demand anymore and the games that do get requested tend to be difficult nuts to crack.

@pika i think it will built back up once ps4 codes are made. im my opinion ps3 is slowing down i wouldnt be surprised if sony discontinued production next year on ps3.

i upgraded my tv to 4k samsung with hdr10 on it plus my pro man these games look sick. I also feel even though sony/microsoft said there wont be exclusive games on pro/scorpio. they lieing it will eventually just be those systems only available and i feel like there will be exclusive games that can only run on pro/scorpio, hell look at scalebound as an example cancelled out the blue was it because the xbox 1 didnt have enough power...............

Anyway, thanks for the update. I'm not going to keep my hopes high, but I'll at least be eager to await this new PS4 save editor. If it functions basically similar to the PS3 GG, then hopefully we shouldn't have a problem or two figuring out how to work it. -- Just one thought though. The PS4 seems to be a gaming system that encourages online gaming (from my observation); I would only use this new save editor to enhance my own offline game saves. Just asking but, is there a slight problem that may occur with this new PS4 save editor?

Sadly games that are tied to the grid like Xenoverse 1 & 2, Street Fighter V and Injustice 2 will not get any codes. The downside of Online Gaming, Oh How I loath it! :evil:
