how can I write in this forum a private message because I know nich so the same problem as described me in this forum from because I and my how to fix is ​​Game Genie : Save Editor for PS3 ( US ) Supplied with Game Genie USB drive - Run the software and wait for error 1005 to appear . Once this the occurs , go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and copy and paste the IP address into a private message to GenieLamp . No other information is required! but I dunno how I can I write ne private message please help

My private messages keep going to my outbox and just sit there and never get sent. How do I get the PM to send to the person it's supposed to go to?

Please don't post about the same issue in multiple places. I already explained to you in the other thread you posted about this in that the Outbox is for messages that haven't been viewed by the recipient yet. It will stop being in your Outbox the moment the recipient opens it on your end. It has been sent, just not read.

Lamp's a busy guy, it can take some time for him to get through his backlog. There's really nothing that can be done other than being patient.

I don't mind being patient and I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. I did see that he wasn't getting notifications about the PMs several days back so I'm a little concerned that we may be waiting longer than usual. Any chance you could reach out to him for us to make sure that he sees we're in need of help?
I also paid for this item and with no "fail-safe" method of deactivating it ourselves if our HDDs die or something, it's not really fun waiting too many days.

Is there any chance you can go ahead and try? It's already been 4 days for me and I'd like it taken care of as soon as possible.
If it were just a "free item" then I'd understand waiting, but this is something we paid for. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

I do understand, as I'm also someone that paid for it. But I'd like to give it time before going to Lamp. I know it's a pain and I'm sorry for that, but just give it another couple of days and then I promise I'll reach out to him if he hasn't gotten back to you already.

He said himself that he had missed all of the PMs and was then able to respond to all of them in just a couple of hours. I don't think it's an issue of being too busy, but more of an issue where he may not see the PMs again and we may be waiting for almost a month for no reason.

At the top of any given page, click where it says "new messages". On that page, click "compose message". The first box is for the username or usernames of whomever you're trying to PM. In this case, GenieLamp. The next box you can type in is the message subject. And the big one is for your message. Tell Lamp about your issue and give him the e-mail you made your purchase with.

There's a button to the right side, under a user's name, post count and join date that says, "PM" on it. You can click that. Alternatively, you can use the method in my post just above yours.

Posting one message so I can PM you. I have the Game Genie USB Key, bought from Amazon 3 years ago. I'm primarily a Mac user and I use BootCamp for Game Genie and a couple of other apps. I deleted all of my Bootcamp partitions from my many Macs and now I get "1005 - too many activations" on a Windows 7 Virtual I set up specifically for Game Genie. I am sending you my public IP address in PM. Thanks

I think perhaps Lamp has been having issues with getting PM notifications. Give it a couple of more days, since it's been 8, not 14. Once you actually hit two weeks, if Lamp hasn't gotten back to you, we'll see what we can do.

I understand that Hyperkin is a tiny company and I fully understand the support workload... however, I also own and run several businesses (brick and mortar as well as mail order) and there is an implicit expectation of some decent level of support for a piece of hardware purchased, especially for extremely simple support request that, just based on this thread, comes up frequently.

I do not think I am being unreasonable or demanding for a physical device I purchased many years ago and I have never asked for support until now. And a simple, known support task at that.

I will wait, as I have zero choice, but I do think that Hyperkin may want to rethink their support arrangements.

My 2 cents.
