I hope GL isn't reading any of these posts just because he's avoiding all the whining and he's ok lol. I've been waiting 4 months, but it is what it is and it's not life or death.

Free service provided for a device that lets you CHEAT at games? C'mon guys don't be so entitled. Yeah, you paid for it. Yeah, it sucks to wait so long for anything, but you know what? You can just keep on playing those games like normal without it.

I'm just going to keep patiently checking this post/my inbox every few days, give my thumbs up to the team here, and keep doing other things with my life (like I'm sure these guys are trying to do lol). I'd suggest you guys do the same.

I just email hyperkin support, and they refers me to this forum as well, so im lost with you people, have no support, have no game genie, and whats about the money I spend with this program? this don´t mean nothing to you?, be serious with bussiness... or give back my money will you????

It's a $20 piece of tech, I loved it when it was working but one day it decided to ask for my code again and now it won't work. I can do without it. I am honestly worried about GenieLamp, he was always around these forums helping out.

Sooooo!!! you people are not asociated by any aspect with this Hyperkin empress... ( should I said "EMPRESS") wich don´t care about costumers and how they feel on money they spend in fog... maybe someone should do something with this... you cannot pay for something that is fog, vapor, humus... anyways... be cool with your consciousness. :ugeek:

Well, that's a bummer.

Whoever coded the piracy check needs to be fired though, on the same PC, I've used all my license uses because it randomly decides I need to 're-activate' my license.. and it doesn't bother deactiavting it when it comes up with that prompt. Genie has always been good about reseting the uses though, but this really shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.. esp if I have the **** USB right next to me.

I really liked having GG, but how they are ending the service definitely will leave a sour taste. Here's to hoping Genie still comes around to do one last round of resets.

And if they are dumping the servers, they might as well let us do the cheats offline, not exactly anything that was computationally intensive.

So... my computer crashed and when I reset it everything got wiped and I wasn't able to reinstall game genie because of too many activations? Help? PM me? Does this thread still get answered?

Doesnt Look Like it ive been waiting for assistace since september 2016 and as far as posts go it appears all support has been discontinued with no information reguarding the only user who could assist game genie owners.

I have the US version and the EU version of the Game Genie. Because of a problem on the motherboard of my notebook I lost both. So the support of the EU version has already helped me, just missing the GL back !!! We will not let GG die !! Please GL, come back !!!

there is nothing on the usb that help identify it,no numbers,only "GAME GENIE" "FOR PS3".

I am having the same problem as well on a pc that was previously running GG just fine,after a few months without using GG I had to install a required update and now am getting the 1005 error.

Yes, you just have to post once. However, I wouldn't hold my breath on getting in touch with Lamp. He's MIA somewhere and Hyperkin has dropped support for the program.

Well, that just sucks then. I've had this installed under one Windows 10 machine and now it's telling me too many activations.

I have the same issue as everyone on this post. My laptop died and the installation to the desktop was gone (had to reinstall Windows). I've sent a message to GenieLamp on Sun Jun 04, 2017 4:29 am. I forgot to send my full name, should I send another message? (That's assuming everyone else is sending their help to). Did I send it to the wrong person? If i did, please let me know.

I believe I have sent everything else that's required tho.

If you sent the message including the e-mail you bought it with, you did everything right. Unfortunately, it's unlikely you'll get the help you need. Lamp isn't really around much, if at all, anymore and he's the only one that could've helped. Hyperkin is no longer giving support for this product so the only way for your GG to function again is to buy a new license from the EU site.
