The very fact that I continue to respond and we continue to monitor these forums, despite being unpaid volunteers, should tell you otherwise. Life can get in the way of efficiency when we aren't paid employees and are not actually required to be here or do anything. Keeping in mind also that we all paid for the product ourselves, it's not as though we don't understand your concerns.

By the way, threatening a lawsuit because a product doesn't work is a bit aggressive. Please refrain from that.

when I paid for the product i wanted to get response for it... and you are not responding for a solution, sendin pm´s to a ghost lamp on vacation for 3 months don´t resolve anything for me pal... sorry and thanks for nothing.

Technically, you didn't pay for a product. You paid for a licsense to use a product owned by Hyperkin. It's stated so in the Terms of Service.

The Game Genie is Hyperkin's property, and they don't need to maintain the Game Genie servers forever for you or for the entire community to honor some kind of agreement with us users, because I've read the TOS, and there is no such agreement.

So, let's all just be happy the GG servers are still up.

The members on these forums are GG users. Some volunteer as moderators, some as community coders, but none of us (myself included) are employed by Hyperkin. That's why there is only one person in the community that can help you out (GenieLamp). I'm truly sorry he hasn't responded to you yet, but don't take your frustrations out on members of the community that are about as helpless as you are at fixing the situation with your GG (or even reaching GL ourselves), and certainly don't threaten them with lawyers because (a) you have little legal standing ground based on the Terms of Service you agreed to when you first installed the GG software and (b) you may find remarks like that can actually be counterproductive.

I had a problem with my registry key. Days ago, I had to restore my computer from a restore point. Since then, he has been giving the message "too many activations/error 1005". The gamegenie I bought is the pendrive and it was working perfectly. Can you help me fix the problem? Thank you.

No offense guys, but if GenieLamp is not reading the PMs you sent (and if the PM you sent is still showing in your "Outbox", then he hasn't read it yet), it's a pretty fair assessment he's not reading your posts here.

He hasn't even posted a message on the boards since July 2016. More than likely, he hasn't even been on the boards in months. I really hope he is okay.

Ok... so why Hiperkyn does not do anything to help people like us, who bought this gg... I think there is something hidden about this...I dont buy gg again, thats for sure....

You didn't want to buy GG again anyway, right? That's why you've been trying to contact GL in the first place. ;)

It is my understanding that on these boards, out of all the members, GenieLamp is the only member with a direct connection to Hyperkin. The rest of us are just community members like yourself. This is a community of fans of the product, not employees of Hyperkin. If GenieLamp isn't reading your messages, I am pretty sure no one associated with Hyperkin is reading them either. So posting messages here isn't informing anyone else at Hyperkin that you have a problem with their product.

It sounds like no one has been able to get a hold of GenieLamp, and that worries me. Not about the future of the GG product, but about him specifically. I'm not even sure I want to contemplate the possible reasons why no one has been able to reach him.

I've attempted to contact Hyperkin directly regarding the situation. If I get a response, I will share it with the community.

I hope GL isn't reading any of these posts just because he's avoiding all the whining and he's ok lol. I've been waiting 4 months, but it is what it is and it's not life or death.

Free service provided for a device that lets you CHEAT at games? C'mon guys don't be so entitled. Yeah, you paid for it. Yeah, it sucks to wait so long for anything, but you know what? You can just keep on playing those games like normal without it.

I'm just going to keep patiently checking this post/my inbox every few days, give my thumbs up to the team here, and keep doing other things with my life (like I'm sure these guys are trying to do lol). I'd suggest you guys do the same.

I just email hyperkin support, and they refers me to this forum as well, so im lost with you people, have no support, have no game genie, and whats about the money I spend with this program? this don´t mean nothing to you?, be serious with bussiness... or give back my money will you???? :x

We've explained before that this is a community of GG users. None of us are employed by Hyperkin. We are customers just like you. None of us can "give your money back".

Only GenieLamp has any direct contact with Hyperkin, and none of us can reach him.

Your first post says "need my gg installed". When did you buy your GG? Did you just purchase your GG, and are installing it for the first time (and having trouble installing it), or have you had it for a while, and are specifically experiencing the "Too Many Activations/Error 1005"? If it's something other than the "Too Many Activations" error, maybe one of us can help. If that error is your problem, though, I'm afraid none of us other than GenieLamp can help you.

It's a $20 piece of tech, I loved it when it was working but one day it decided to ask for my code again and now it won't work. I can do without it. I am honestly worried about GenieLamp, he was always around these forums helping out.

Agreed Proffingers. I sincerely hope GenieLamp is okay.

I paid $30 for a license to the digital version back in March of 2015. I can honestly say I've used the GG so many times on a large number of games in my library, I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of the program. If they suddenly pull the plug on the servers, though I'll miss not being able to use the program anymore, I have to understand it's irrational to think they will keep the servers running indefinitely.

I am truly sorry for those people that have been unable to use their GG while others still had access to theirs. Really I am. Maybe we should take this as an early sign that the GG servers and the service they provide may be coming to an end at some point in the forseeable future. For those in the community still able to use their GG, I recommend using it while you still can.

Sooooo!!! you people are not asociated by any aspect with this Hyperkin empress... ( should I said "EMPRESS") wich don´t care about costumers and how they feel on money they spend in fog... maybe someone should do something with this... you cannot pay for something that is fog, vapor, humus... anyways... be cool with your consciousness. :ugeek:

That is correct, we are not employed nor associated with Hyperkin (which wouldn't matter anyway, since the email response they gave you said they no longer support the Game Genie). This is a community of GG licensees, and like you, we are unable to help fix GG's Error 1005.

Psychological tactics won't change that fact.

Hopefully GenieLamp will respond to PMs eventually. He's the only one that can help with this error. That's about the best response anyone in this community can offer you in the meantime.

Well, that's a bummer.

Whoever coded the piracy check needs to be fired though, on the same PC, I've used all my license uses because it randomly decides I need to 're-activate' my license.. and it doesn't bother deactiavting it when it comes up with that prompt. Genie has always been good about reseting the uses though, but this really shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.. esp if I have the **** USB right next to me.

I really liked having GG, but how they are ending the service definitely will leave a sour taste. Here's to hoping Genie still comes around to do one last round of resets.

And if they are dumping the servers, they might as well let us do the cheats offline, not exactly anything that was computationally intensive.

I have the US version and the EU version of the Game Genie. Because of a problem on the motherboard of my notebook I lost both. So the support of the EU version has already helped me, just missing the GL back !!! We will not let GG die !! Please GL, come back !!!
